Corporate catering that doesn't feel corporate

Forgelpixel delivers sharp, seasonally-driven food for Halifax boardroom lunches, company retreats, product launches, and full-day conference catering.
What corporate catering looks like when it's actually designed
Most corporate catering follows a predictable script: boxed sandwiches, generic platters, lukewarm coffee. We don't work that way. Whether you need a working lunch for twelve or a three-course dinner for a client hospitality evening, Forgelpixel builds a menu appropriate to the occasion and the people in the room. We accommodate recurring bookings — weekly team lunches, monthly board meetings — with rotating menus so the same team isn't eating the same thing on repeat. For larger events like product launches or annual conferences, we assign a dedicated event coordinator who handles all logistics from delivery scheduling to on-site service. We've worked with technology firms, law offices, universities, and government departments across Halifax and the Maritimes.

Corporate catering formats we handle
From quick team lunches to multi-day conference catering — we adapt to your schedule and format.
-
Working lunches
Clean, efficient, genuinely tasty. We deliver portioned lunches for your team with minimal setup requirements — no chafing dishes to deal with, no mess. Just good food at noon, and everything removed an hour later.
-
Conference & full-day events
We plan around your agenda. Morning coffee and pastries, a proper seated lunch, afternoon breaks with something that isn't stale biscuits — the food track of your conference is mapped against your programme schedule.
-
Client hospitality dinners
When the impression you make matters, the food has to be right. We design formal or semi-formal dinners for 10 to 80 guests, with matched service style and full table management by our staff.
“We run a quarterly board meeting with external directors and have used Forgelpixel for the past two years. The food is consistently excellent — there's always something seasonal that sparks a conversation — and the logistics are completely invisible. Everything arrives on time, is set up before people sit down, and disappears cleanly afterward. Exactly what a busy events team needs.”
Common questions about corporate catering
How far in advance do you need notice for a recurring lunch booking?
For weekly or monthly recurring bookings we ask for at least two weeks to set up the rotation and confirm logistics with your venue or office. One-off lunches for under 20 people can sometimes be arranged with 72 hours' notice, depending on our schedule.
Do you cater outside Halifax?
Yes — we regularly work across the Halifax Regional Municipality and travel to Truro, Windsor, and the Annapolis Valley for larger events. Travel is factored into the quote. If you're unsure whether your location works for us, just ask.
Can you handle a very large conference — say, 400 people?
Our comfortable range is up to 350 guests with full plated service. For buffet or station-style service, we can accommodate up to 500. Above that, we may recommend a co-catering arrangement and can make introductions to partners we trust.
Do you provide serving staff, or just the food?
Both. Every booking includes service staff scaled to your guest count. For working lunches, that typically means a delivery team and a single coordinator. For seated dinners, we provide full front-of-house staffing.
